Drawing Challenge Day 43

Merdude pulling up seaweed.
He obviously needs it for something, though I can't imagine what.

"Dreamland Virus"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blue lead in my arms and legs
Twinkles in my fingertips
The world turned blue and swimming
I'm confused
I must be in a dream
A dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus.
A ticklish lethargy in my chest
An alien waking in my breast
I'm floating away from what's real
I'm lost
I must be infected
By a dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus.
It's got me reeling-
Dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus
Dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus
Walk away from the bright sounds
Try to work with the lights out
I remember I've seen this place before
I'm suspicious
I must have forgotten
About the dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus.
It's got me reeling-
Can't seem to find the ground
Can't seem to figure out
What or who it's all about
I'm a melancholy captive bound
By a dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus
Reeling-
Dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus
Dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus
Dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus
Dream
Dreamland
Dreamland Virus.
I wrote a song.
Stop
Drifting pain to hate arrive
Stop
Losing will to look alive
Run
Hard away from budding lie
Tear apart the growing strands before you change your mind.
Drawing Challenge Day 42- Great grandparents 75th Anniversary
Today was my great-grandparent's 75th wedding anniversary party.
My great-grandpa Harold bought this Model A when he was 16, and has had it ever since. I did a sketch of it at the party and gave it to him and grandma. My sister Autumn should also get credit for providing the paper and idea- I just arrived when she was starting a sketch and redid the whole thing XP
A little girl named Annika (I think she was probably around 8?) saw the picture I drew and asked Autumn if I could do a portrait of her- and of course Autumn told her I could. So I did, in about two and a half minutes XD We got interrupted for a family picture, but she seemed happy, and I gave her the portrait to keep.
